The design was created by graphic designer Chikako Nakamura of Claque, who has been designing Yohji Yamamoto's invitations since 1996.
The series features a monochrome interpretation of the original invitation, which gives it a distinctive and impactful look.

The graphical design and new specifications of the eraser kit with a case, updated as the 2025 version while retaining the 1999 concept, are included as a set with each T-shirt.
The “eraser” used as the invitation for the Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME 1999 Spring/Summer Collection garnered attention for its unique approach, and the “case-included eraser kit” released as a novelty item for the same season achieved high popularity.
