In its first collaboration with MOONSTAR, WILDSIDE presents a sneaker that combines its refined design with MOONSTAR’s craftsmanship and shoemaking expertise cultivated over the years.

The sneaker is based on MOONSTAR’s signature “GYM CLASSIC,” a modern recreation of training shoes produced in the 1960s.
It is crafted using MOONSTAR’s unique vulcanization process, known for its classic appearance and durable construction.
The upper is made from durable cotton canvas, while the minimalist silhouette offers flexibility and durability suited to everyday wear.

The rubber sole has been customized in black. A rounded WILDSIDE logo is embroidered on the heel, while the stitching and color details have also been specially arranged to incorporate WILDSIDE’s distinctive design throughout.
The sneaker comes with round laces in both black and white, allowing for different looks depending on your styling.

Produced at MOONSTAR’s own factory in Kurume, the “MADE IN KURUME” craftsmanship is combined with WILDSIDE’s design in this collaborative model.

MOONSTAR is a Japanese shoemaker founded in 1873. Originating in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, the company began by making tabi (traditional Japanese split-toe socks) and expanded its craft to jika-tabi (split-toe work shoes), canvas shoes, and rubber shoes. For over 150 years, it has cultivated and passed down its own shoemaking techniques in Kurume, continuing to create shoes that fit naturally into the everyday lives of the people who wear them.
