Based on SPIEWAK’s iconic “G-8” flight jacket, originally adopted by the U.S. Navy Air Corps in the 1950s, this piece has been reinterpreted through the WILDSIDE lens with refined detailing and modern updates.
Crafted from Yohji Yamamoto’s original premium wool gabardine for the outer shell and lightly padded for insulation, it offers both warmth and functionality as a fall/winter outerwear essential.
While preserving traditional elements of the original “G-8”—such as oversized flap pockets on the chest, a cigar pocket on the left arm, a chin strap with ribbed fabric, and action pleats at the back—this updated version introduces a double-zip front closure and additional side pockets, blending contemporary style with practical utility.
