Based on the knit caps worn as uniforms by the US Navy in the 1940s, we produced a single knit cap using a technique of knitting between the legs, stepped ribs, a 4-strand lock sewing machine, and reduced stitching.In the 1940s, there were no factories specializing in knit hats, but they were knitted together in factories that produced ribs for gloves and jackets, so they were knitted in the same process up to the halfway point and then sewn.The design has a blurred print of "H.W.PUPPY" on the side.Manufacturer's item number: D-01043
