Details

As the second collaboration with Rocky Mountain Featherbed, a special-edition down jacket debuts—based on the limited “Down Jacket Denim” model crafted from vintage denim and lined with burgundy ripstop fabric.

Made in Japan, the piece uses sulfur-dyed black denim that has been naturally faded for a worn-in look, allowing the wearer to enjoy the evolving texture over time. The signature yoke is crafted from washable cow leather, combining refined design with practical functionality.

The interior features durable burgundy ripstop fabric that adds a subtle accent while maintaining a sophisticated and versatile color balance. The down filling, a hallmark of Rocky Mountain Featherbed, is composed of high-quality European down (90% down, 10% feather, 700 fill power) treated with a water-repellent finish—ensuring warmth and comfort even in rain or snow.

About Rocky Mountain Featherbed
Founded in the late 1960s in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the brand was created by an outdoor and horseback riding enthusiast who pioneered the use of GORE-TEX—then the most advanced material available in 1974—and introduced signature pieces such as the mountain parka featuring a single-piece leather yoke. Though the brand disappeared in the late 1980s, it was revived in 2005 by Kenji Teramoto, one of Japan’s foremost vintage collectors.

Through years of meticulous research and development, Teramoto recreated and refined the original designs, bringing Rocky Mountain Featherbed back to life. Today, the brand continues to preserve its authentic craftsmanship while infusing it with modern sensibilities—captivating people across generations worldwide.
