“Schott”
Schott
Founded in 1913 by brothers Irving and Jack Schott, who started out with a raincoat shop on East Broadway in New York, Schott has its origins in classic American outerwear.

In 1928, they developed the world’s first motorcycle jacket with a front zipper, which Irving named Perfecto after his favorite Cuban cigar. Soon after, they introduced the legendary model known as the “One Star,” distinguished by star-shaped studs on the epaulets. From the 1960s onward, it spread beyond bikers into the world of rock fashion, and even today the “One Star” is regarded as an unsurpassed masterpiece. From there, Schott grew into the largest outerwear company in the United States.

With most of its outerwear still produced in its own factories and an enduring commitment to Made in U.S.A., Schott celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. Carrying forward the spirit of old-world craftsmanship, it remains one of the rare brands through which the essence of America can still be truly felt.
