MOSS STUDIO
MOSS STUDIO" is a studio launched in November 2021 by four people of different ages, thoughts, genders, and industries.
Their personalities are disparate and inconsistent, and they begin their activities of making things as they feel like it, returning to their childhood memories. The distortions created by ruminating deeply while being amused, and the individual personalities of each sublimate into a single creative entity called "MOSS.
They have been creating things from scratch with their own hands, and also produce video works and graphic designs in-house. Starting with artwork, MOSS independently develops apparel, jewelry, and home goods.
His video work "Matagi," to be released in 2024, was selected as a staff pick (Recommended Watch) by NOWNESS ASIA. The items that follow the image of the film are made using a unique Japanese technique where craftsmen embroider each item by hand on a side-swinging sewing machine in Kiryuu, Japan.
