In winter, our belongings inevitably seem to multiply.
Beyond the layers we wear, the necessity of cold-weather gear like scarves and gloves means we find ourselves carrying more, whether we wish to or not.
After days spent navigating this, I find myself longing to be light and hands-free, at least on my days off.

This piece possesses the appearance of a minimalist Balmacaan coat, yet the front is discreetly equipped with four pockets.
Typically, coats of this style feature only diagonal slash pockets. However, I have come to realize how significantly the addition of just two more pockets transforms its utility.
I can slip my gloves inside without a thought and I won’t lose them, and the way they accentuate the coat is also pleasing.
If I choose a pair in a contrasting color, they begin to resemble a pocket square.

While a uniform black, the fabric is a meticulous blend of wool, polyester, nylon, and rayon. This delicate composition is a highlight of the garment, resulting in a smooth, airy texture. The goat will surely serve me from the depths of winter through the early days of spring.
While it requires a certain courage to invest in winter wear at this stage of the season, a justification like would surely provide a clear reason to do so.
