The Rocky Mountain Featherbed down jacket is known as a classic piece of outdoor wear and continues to be sampled by many different brands. A new masterpiece is born from the collaboration between one such piece and WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO.
The basis for this collaboration is the down feather vest that exemplifies Rocky Mountain Featherbed: single-cut York leather.
Down wear usually loses its insulation when wet, but this piece makes use of European water-repellent down that keeps you warm no matter the weather, made by applying water-repellant material directly to the down.
Rocky Mountain Featherbed achieves both extraordinary lightness and an extremely high insulation rating of 700FP through an optimal blend of 90% down and 10% feather.
A collaboration with this classic has now been realized.
Each piece has iconic WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO flower patterning on either the outer or inner fabric.
There are 3 sizes available, at 38, 42, and 46. It should be noted that the size 46 is designed as an oversized jacket able to be worn over other jackets.

The contrast in material allows for a dimensionality even with simple black coloring, shown through the boundary between Nylon and exquisite York leather.
Though simple at first glance, the inner fabric uses flower patterning inspired by archival designs. This detailing is easily the most significant element of the collab. By letting the design peek through, this piece will set you apart from the crowd.

The other design uses the flowered fabric on the outside. It is a bold design, but the chic black York leather tightens the overall design to keep it from becoming ostentatious with sublime balance.
The lining features a red color picked up from the flower-pattern.The piece will surely perform as an accent color within your ensemble.
